Salon 21 is pleased to present “Menhir,” a solo exhibition by Leah Pommier, opening to the public on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Leah Pommier is an abstract artist, creating works with paint, plaster, clay, antique and repurposed textile, and organic materials. Being self-taught, she has found much of her inspiration by examining archaeology, patterns in nature, and the environments around her, among other areas of interest. Pommier’s work has been exhibited in the US and is part of private collections worldwide. This show will be her first solo exhibition.

Leah Pommier

Leah Pommier is an artist working and living in Arizona, USA. Paint and textile intertwine in her work to bridge the physical and intangible realms. Her works are the result of performance mixed with the desire to convey abstract feeling, added to autobiographical experience. Pommier’s influences are diverse, ranging from ancient European architecture and Western landscapes, to fashion design and music, to natural processes of weathering and decay, to the desire to obtain balance and unity.
